20 Facts About Me (Via Instagram)

Was recently tagged on Instagram by my friend Erica to post twenty facts about myself, and I thought it would be fun to share this on my blog as well. :) At first, I thought it would be difficult to think of what to say about myself, because lets face it, I'm pretty boring... but it was actually super easy and twenty facts totally wasn't enough! Maybe I'm more self-obsessed than I guessed? Just kidding...

20 Facts About Me:

  8. I get cold easily.
  9. I have really bad chronic constipation and I only poop once a week, and that is only when I take medicine (tmi? too bad LOL).

  11. I’ve been to the hospital 52 times since August 2013 (yes I do keep count).
  12. I love Pokemon and I can’t wait to get my hands on Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire!

Summer 2014 with My Family

Here's a collection of photos showing what I've been up to with my family since school's been over. It's so refreshing to be able to spend time with them without feeling guilty. The first pictures are all the way from the beginning of July, which feels like ages ago now! I apologise in advance because I'm not bothered to caption all the pictures, haha, I just really want to clear my backdated posts. :P

N's Girls Reunited!

...Well, sort of. So far, I've only seen my best friends three times after coming back from Japan - separately too, may I add - which is super unacceptable! But first things first, here's a picture of the postcards that Maisie and Whitney sent me from Europe!

During my first week of work, I met up with Maisie and Whitney, but Clar was in Yunnan for a school trip and Cherry was still touring Europe. We had dinner at Motorino with Llywelyn in Wanchai, then taxi'd to Lan Kwai Fong to meet Hank for ice cream at Holly Brown. We ended the night (well, I did, because I left early) at Taj Bar & Restaurant, which as usual, had the worst service ever.

After everyone came back to Hong Kong, we planned everything for our ultimate meet-up, where we would all be reunited after three months of separation. But on the day of our reunion, Cherry and Maisie went hiking in Tai O and didn't manage to get back to the city in time for our movie, so in the end, only Whitney, Clar and I met. And funnily, it was Maisie who proposed the idea!

Anyway, we went to Olympian City's cinema to watch 闺蜜 (Girls). The movie was really good! I've been really loving Asian movies lately, first 分手100次 (Break Up 100) and now this. 闺蜜 is about three best friends and their sisterhood, which was why we thought was an appropriate movie to watch together. :) Such a shame all five of us couldn't gather together for this epicness, haha.

Comix Home Base

A Saturday well spent! Well, this entry only shows the latter part of my day. In the morning, I went to my "beauty appointment" in Causeway Bay, followed by lunch at Wired Café with my Mum (pictures in another entry), before I met up with Jason to visit the Comix Home Base. Again, I'd found this place while doing my research for architecture firms to work for, and it seemed like an interesting place... needless to say, it didn't disappoint! :)

There was a Hong Kong-Taiwan comic exhibition going on, and although I could not read all of the displays because some featured panels didn't have English, we still spent heaps of time there. The atmosphere was super chill with live local bands playing in the courtyard of the revitalised building. Jason and I just stood there, watching the musicians from the top floor, for like an hour. I swear I have a lesbian crush on one of the female singers! (erm... unfortunately I forgot her name already LOL)

Afterwards we headed to the newly opened Simplylife in Causeway Bay for dinner. We were gonna eat at the more expensive outdoor restaurants in Fashion Walk but we decided against it in the end cos we were (are) too cheap. :P
