Singapore: Day 2

Our second day in Singapore was a full day unlike yesterday (because we spent half the day flying from Hong Kong) so there are tons of pictures for you guys! Today Jason and I had an outdoor lunch in a park called The Lawn looking over to Marina Bay Sands, went to Gardens by the Bay where we were too stingy to spend any money on the domes (we only went on the OCBC Skyway), then actually went over to MBS ourselves to see the interior architecture. We were going to visit the ArtScience Museum as well, but we were too stingy for that too LOL.

So of course we opted for the free option of visiting the Helix Bridge before finally deciding to spend a little. We took the river taxi over to snap a picture with One Fullerton's Unielephant statue and to see The Merlion. And before you ask, yes we did take pictures "drinking" the water from The Merlion's mouth but that's just too typical to post. That and I look bad in the photos. We had some kaya toast from Toast Junction, walked around a bit more, and had dinner at Lau Sa Pat Festival Market.

Singapore: Day 1

Posting pictures of my Singapore trip with Jason! It's our first time travelling together - yes, you heard right. We've nearly been dating three years and yet this is our first overseas trip ever. We move slow, haha. We chose Singapore because I've always wanted to go, it's close and it's just like Hong Kong! What's more, they have tons of salad places. ;)

Day 1 shows us arriving in the city, exploring Haji Lane where we went to Bergs for lunch randomly (Jason got too hungry to wait around) and visiting Lasalle College of the Arts. Yep, we visited an art school just for the architecture, haha. We did more but I didn't bother taking photos. Oh, and if you're curious, we stayed at a hotel called V Hotel Lavender - it was nothing special, just your typical cheapish hotel, nothing worth praising or ranting about.
