Bangkok & Hua Hin: Part 5

On the fifth day, we woke up bright and early for an awesome buffet breakfast at our hotel, which we had every single morning. Not to say the breakfast buffet at our hotel in Hua Hin wasn't awesome, by the way, because I don't think I ever mentioned it, lol! But yeah, breakfast buffets are one of my favourite things about going on trips to Thailand because they're always so diverse and you know me, I love my buffets! (So much that I actually have a buffet category on this blog)

Anyway, after breakfast, we went to the top thing on my checklist of things to do in Bangkok... Hello Kitty Café! I know, I know, there are a few (newly opened) ones in Hong Kong - which I still haven't been to, may I add - but the one in Bangkok is truly huge and iconic!

We spent the early afternoon there and then near the evening, we went to Asiatique The Riverfront, an open-air mall that requires a river journey to and fro! It's a bit of a tourist trap with the many stores selling touristy things... but hey, we are tourists! If you're planning to go there, plan your day time doing other things because it only opens at 5PM!

Bangkok & Hua Hin: Part 4

In this episode of... oops sorry I've been watching too much Pretty Little Liars, haha. In this part of my Bangkok and Hua Hin trip series, I'm going to show you guys the photos from our fourth day! Not much happened because the majority of the day was spent travelling from Hua Hin to Bangkok. We were considering taking the local buses like the way we got to Hua Hin on the first day, but in the end we just hired a private hotel car despite being poor-ass folks. Well... it's okay to splurge once in a while, right? And plus, it would save us a lot of hassle and time so we decided the hotel's transport would be the best bet!

Dad and I spent the morning actually exploring our resort, because guess what? Thanks to our packed schedule the last three days, we hadn't really had time to even relax, which is the whole point of tourists going to Hua Hin! Like typical Asians, we didn't want to 'waste our time' so we spent every minute rushing from destination to destination... reminder to self: you do that in Bangkok, not here!

We arrived at our hotel in Bangkok in the late afternoon and just explored the malls and street markets around the place. Not gonna lie, I was delighted by all the food options and especially fruit options! I guess if I had to pick between Bangkok and Hua Hin, I'd definitely choose the first. City girl through and through!

Bangkok & Hua Hin: Part 3

For the third part of my Bangkok and Hua Hin posts, I'm going to show you guys the pictures from Swiss Sheep Farm, where we went after Santorini Park Cha-am! I discovered the existence of this park while watching Youtube videos (I'm obsessed with watching vlogs, you see...) and because we got to touch and feed alpacas up close, I knew I had to go. I did really extensive research too cos one vlogger I follow went on a day where the alpaca pen was closed to the public. I needed to know which day it was opened so I even emailed Swiss Sheep Farm and contacted their Facebook page myself, haha! Luckily, I went on a day they opened, yay!
