I Baked an Apple Pie!

Well, I helped. I helped a lot actually! I would've made one whole one myself if my Mum had told me about the class earlier so we could've had time to sign up for one more slot. But I did get to experience making the base and everything with my hands because another woman was late to class and I got to begin her pie... and I did the worst parts for her. =.= She got there so late so she got to do the fun, decorative parts. Such is life! But hey, I had a free lesson, so I'm not complaining!

I had the choice between going baking with my Mum or going to the JCCAC Art Fair with the N's Girls (why do all the great activities have to happen on the same day?), and in the end I chose baking because a) it involves food and I love food and b) I figured my Mum and I needed some bonding time.

The class... wasn't as fun as I thought it would be, actually. I guess because it was organised by a charity organisation so everything was quite cheap, but that was expected from the fee we paid. And everyone who attended were mothers in their 40s to 50s to 60s. Nonetheless it was still fun!

I know what you're thinking - the apple pie looks so bad! Well, looks aren't everything my darlings. It certainly tasted bombass. Mum and I brought it home to eat! It was finished within two days. Fat pigs! Though to be fair, my Dad ate most of it, heh!
