Janet came back to Hong Kong for a little over a week so it was time for our whole group to get together once again! Unfortunately we couldn't have a full group reunion, as always, because Karina was in Japan. But never mind, six out of seven attendees is impressive enough already, given that we're studying all over the world! We had dinner at Life Café Restaurant & Bar, met up in Shatin to see the Studio Ghibli Layout Designs exhibition at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum, and had dinner at Dining Kitchen Vegi. Oh, and we also went to Macau for a day trip, but that'll be for the next entry! :)

Japan 2014: Part 2
Days five six seven eight nine
On the last five days of our trip, we continued heading south and flew back to Hong Kong at Fukuoka. To be more specific, these five days, we travelled around Okayama, Kagoshima and Fukuoka. After having breakfast in our hotel in Kobe, we made our way to Okayama to a beautiful hotel called Hotel Limani, a beautiful Greece-inspired hotel! I was delighted but my Mum was less than pleased (she thought the detour we made wasn't worth it), but I guess my Dad booked it for me because he knew how much I've always wanted to visit Greece, but just never had the opportunity to (yet!). We stayed a night there then went on to Kagoshima, checking in into an onsen hotel and exploring both the commercial and sight-seeing places. Lastly, we went back to the city area in Hakata, where we stayed one night and then returned to Hong Kong!
