Ultimately during my birthday weekend I had to pick two out of the three: work, play or sleep. I chose work (went back to the studio every day) and play (celebrated my birthday with two groups of friends and my extended family)... so I ended up pulling two all nighters in a row. Or near all nighters, because the second night I couldn't stand it and napped for like 3-4 hours.
But enough about architecture.
Spent my official birthday with these lovely girls! My N's girls!
They understand me best when it comes to workload... them and the rest of my classmates, haha. After we had lunch we actually went back to school and I spent the rest of my day in the studio working. I know, so sad right? Working on my birthday at school?
We had a salad buffet lunch at Momo Café, which is located just underneath HKU. xD It was pure coincidence, cos we'd wanted to have a salad buffet for ages and one of the most popular places for that in Hong Kong is at Water Street... which is at the foot of the hill that our university is perched on.
The buffet itself was REALLY good!!! Though I guess I'll always be more of a carb and meat eater than salad eater, because I got bored of greens after one huge bowl... I kept refilling my plate with dim sum and pasta and spam afterwards. :S So much for eating healthy lol, I'll always be a fat shit.
Afterwards we walked back up to the studio to work. Whitney, Cherry and Maisie went to "buy some fruits" and I didn't twig what was going on... I didn't expect anything else cos it was already really nice that they spent lunch time with me, and they'd already surprised me with a homemade cake on Monday...
But anyway, after a while they came up and they had another round of surprise for me! Birthday cupcakes! Another round of lighted candles and birthday wishes and cakes from Eat My Cakes. Thank you so much my girls! :)
