I've actually forgotten how long it has been since my Mum began baking. Two years? Three years? She began taking lessons in bread and cake making and still does, but she bakes a lot in her own time too so we're never out of pastries at home. In fact, we constantly have a
surplus of baked goods and we find it difficult to finish everything, especially since we only have three people living in our immediate household. My Mum gets really upset if the food is good but goes to waste, so she tries to give her creations away to family and friends as much as possible. Let me know if you ever want to taste her baking, she'd be glad to share (and super happy to have the opportunity to bake more)!
Note: I'm only posting the aesthetically pleasing photos here - Mum actually made
a lot more bread and cakes, but since I only obtain these photos through her Whatsapp messages, the "nicer" pictures (well, in my opinion anyway) are somewhat limited by her photography skills. Ha ha, sorry, but it's the truth and you guys know I'm anal (pardon me) about these things!
