We ate at the Tsim Sha Tsui Star House branch and were the noisiest table in the restaurant. Surprisingly, it wasn't full even though it was a Saturday. Apparently a lot of people kept giving us disdainful looks because we were making a huge racket laughing and just chatting in general. I don't think I'd ever been to any Peking Garden restaurants prior to this, but I've always thought that being a Chinese restaurant, Peking Garden would have more of a yumcha than a fine-dining vibe despite it's high end price? Or perhaps I am just ignorant about Chinese dining? Either way, it was nice to see Maisie smiling about her presents and company. :)

Maisie's 22nd Birthday at Peking Garden
Originally, the plan for Maisie's birthday celebration was hiking, but the weather wasn't suitable. Then, we decided to cook at her place, but she ended up staying up late the night before for her company's annual dinner. So in the end, it was just dinner at Peking Garden of all places because Maisie suddenly craved peking duck!
