The N's Girls first high tea of 2014 was at C'est La B in Pacific Place, Admiralty! To be honest though I wasn't that enthusiastic about this place, mainly because the Openrice reviews weren't that great and the set didn't really look appetising. And it wasn't cheap either at $380HKD for one set, not including the 10% service charge. I guess what really sold this place to the other girls though was that the tea set was cute and looked like it belonged in Alice in the Wonderland, and the decor was really pretty! At least the time we spent taking pictures of and with the food made it more worth the price, haha.
My doubts were confirmed when we actually tried the food. Not good at all in my opinion, especially the mousse in the middle layer... maybe it's because none of us are really mousse-loving people? Idk but it was a bit too sickly sweet. We all agreed that it would be much better if we picked individual pieces of cakes etc to suit our own tastes instead of having the tea set. The service was really good though! I would come back maybe for the savoury foods or maybe for a single piece of cake.
